Google search console is a free web based SEO tool for webmasters. It is to track both the indexing and crawling stats from Google Bot while also providing metrics for organic visibility. It is a basic tool. Search console is web service by Google webmasters which allow them to check indexing status and optimize visibility of their websites. We can see data like user queries and the number of times your site URLs appear in search results. It is also known as mock point. We can change country location through this.

·          Create   Google search console account by entering URL prefix.

·         In URL inspection copy webpage URL.

·         The website automatically verified.

·         If URL is not available, click Test live URL and request again option.

Five verification methods:-

1.  HTML file verification method.

2.  HTML meta tag method.

3.  Google analytics method.

4.  Google tag manager method.

5.  Domain name provider method.

It is an XML document. Google easily crawl XML document. By adding sitemaps in Google search console. The maximum size of site map is 10mb.

Steps for submitting sitemap

Create account in search console.

Select website from sidebar.

Select sitemaps from index.

Enter URL with sitemap.xml.
